Commercial Projects
Amerlink and In The Woods have assisted with many commercial projects over their 25 year tenure as one of the top log home manufacturers in the business. Lodges, restaurants, churches, retail outlets and training facilities are just a few of the many structures ideally suited to log home construction.
By dealing direct with the manufacturer, our prices are competitive and service is first class. All commercial clients are assisted by our most experienced sales, design and customer service staff.
Some of the top considerations when choosing log for a commercial project should be:
- Maintenance- The interior finish of a log wall is tough, durable and ages beautifully; compared to drywall, plaster or any painted masonry surface, the interior maintenance is practically non-existent. Some exterior preservatives being offered can last up to seven years when applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions, even longer if protected by porches or wider overhangs.
- Time- The perimeter walls go together much faster than a stick or masonry structure. If using our standard package, all other components are conventional and easily assembled by any competent builder. At least two steps are eliminated when building with a solid log wall. We have a construction crew available to erect the shell in most states if your builder is not familiar with log construction.
- Cost- The log perimeter wall serves as its own insulator, frame and interior finish, eliminating at least two parts of the standard construction process. Cost of construction varies depending on location, but even the more expensive areas still average about the same as a site-built custom commercial structure. Your commercial sales assistant can help guide you to the appropriate styles and options for your budget.
- Aesthetics- Let’s face it, if you want your facility to be beautiful, and something that stands out in a sea of concrete structures, log is your best bet.
Our commercial clients have the ability to modify our standard package to meet their local building regulations as well as their desire for retail spaces, restaurants, lodges, offices, churches, farms or any other need they may have. While our standard log is Eastern White Pine, we also have cypress and western red cedar available.
Shell erection services are available in most areas.
