Rocky Mount is the home of North Carolina Wesleyan College, a four year liberal arts college, and is just 2.5 hours from the famous North Carolina beaches. To the west, the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and their numerous snow skiing areas are a 3.5 hour drive away.
