Rocky Mount, NC – In The Woods, one of the nation’s top companies providing custom, affordable log home packages to consumers across the U.S. and abroad, set new log home sales records in 2007. As log home sales continue to increase with each year, In The Woods projects additional increases in 2008.
With increased sales results in 2005 and 2006, In The Woods continues to lead the trend of log home popularity averaging over 350 log homes sold each year. With the industry estimating more than 500,000 log homes in the United Sates today, sales figures have more than doubled to $1.7 billion since 1995.
“Log home popularity is rising and the industry is growing at an increasing rate, in turn causing more and more consumers to purchase log homes as their primary residences,” commented John Barth, President and CEO of In The Woods. “This surge in consumer demand has allowed us to set new sales records because we are dedicated to exceeding both the shifting needs of the market and the needs of our customers,” Barth added.
In order to generate record sales, In The Woods has put in place several new exciting programs and initiatives in place to foster untapped market potential and exceed industry expectations. Besides being a leader in log home packages, In The Woods’ Green Outlook program sponsors reforestation projects and is a role model for the logging industry. Their conservation efforts are supported by the National Arbor Day Foundation and illustrate In The Woods’ dedication to listening to the voice of their customers.
In November 2007, In The Woods bolstered their image by funding the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes’ Road to Recovery Conference in Florida. Their support helped wounded veterans take an all-expense paid vacation where they could relax, visit Disney World, and also access valuable information on veterans’ affairs from knowledgeable speakers.
The company reached out to two customers in specific when they sponsored professional golfers Troy Matteson and Brett Wetterich for the PGA TOUR. Both Troy and Brett have decided to build their own log home havens with In The Woods. Through their sponsorships, In The Woods anticipates higher levels of brand recognition and to further develop their image as a high quality provider of custom, affordable homes.
