Log Styles
Most of our log styles are available in any one of four different log sizes – 8/6, 8/8, 12/6 and 12/8 (the first digit reflects the nominal log height; the second the nominal log thickness). Each log style offers both an integral tongue and groove joinery system and drip edge designed to keep air and water where they belong – outside. The Classic D style features a rounded exterior while the Double Round provides rounded surfaces both inside and out. The Notch Lap log style is reminiscent of a handhewn exterior look and features a recess that may be chinked to further achieve that look. The Contemporary style offers a beveled exterior appearance, either wide or narrow face. All styles, except the Double Round, provide a flat interior surface with the look of V-notched paneling.
